Still Have Questions?

We've got answers

As per Indian regulations, anyone can invest in startups through equity crowdfunding. However, Pitchlabz encourages responsible investing. While there are currently no formal investment caps for non-accredited investors, we recommend limiting your investments to a sensible portion of your income or net worth, especially when backing early-stage ventures.

For Middle Eastern investors, local investment limits may apply based on jurisdiction. Please consult your financial advisor or local regulations.

Once a fundraising round closes and your investment is successfully processed, Pitchlabz will email you a countersigned Subscription Agreement. This document acts as your official proof of investment and outlines your stake in the company. Some campaigns may do rolling closes, in which case you’ll receive your agreement shortly after your funds are included in a disbursement.

Startup investments are high-risk, high-reward. There is no guaranteed return. Potential outcomes include:

  • Equity appreciation if the startup grows significantly

  • Dividends (if the startup chooses to issue them)

  • Acquisition or IPO exit (leading to capital gain)

Pitchlabz facilitates the investment but does not offer post-investment financial advice. We encourage you to consult a financial professional for portfolio planning.

Yes, investors can cancel an investment within 48 hours of making it. After that, cancelation depends on the specific fundraising terms set by the startup. If the company is doing rolling closes, you’ll be notified and may get a short window to cancel during that time.

Once your investment is marked as “Finalized” or “Processed,” cancellation is no longer possible. Refunds (if eligible) will be processed within 7–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank clearing timelines.

After investing, you’ll get periodic updates directly from the startup via your Pitchlabz dashboard. These may include growth metrics, funding news, and business developments. You’ll also be notified of any follow-on rounds or exit opportunities if they arise.

Currently, shares bought via Pitchlabz are not traded on a secondary market and are considered illiquid. You should be prepared to hold your investment long-term. However, if the startup gets acquired, goes public, or conducts a buyback, you may have the opportunity to exit.

We list high-potential startups across categories like tech, consumer products, fintech, healthtech, and more. Each listing undergoes internal curation and due diligence to match investor preferences and ensure strong market potential.
